Terms and Conditions for Collect Offer 2024: 1% fee on the first RM5,000 payment collections via credit card and FPX

Eligibility to participate:

  1. CardUp users who have signed up for a business account and have not yet collected any payments before (“Business User”) are eligible to enjoy 1% fees for all credit card and FPX payment collections ("Offer"), in accordance with the following Terms & Conditions

  2. The Business User is an authorized person signing up on behalf of an active local company. A Company Registration number must be provided when setting up a business account

  3. The Business User must complete the CardUp Collect setup to enable payment collection via the platform ("Collector"). Once the set-up is approved, the Collector will be able to start collecting credit card and FPX payments via the payment link in the account

  4. The Offer is valid on payments collected via the Collector’s payment link on up to the first RM5,000 on FPX and credit card payments made with any domestic or international Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, as long as these card types and payment methods have been enabled in the Collector’s account

  5. The Offer will automatically be applied to the Collector account once the setup is fully verified and approved on or before 30 June 2024 ("Onboarded Date")

  6. The Offer is valid during the "offer period" which must occur during the "campaign period":
    (a) The “Campaign Period” is between 6 February 2024 and 30 June 2024, both dates inclusive
    (b) The “Offer Period” commences forty-five (45) days from the Onboarded Date. The Offer will end at 18:00:00 MYT on the forty-fifth (45th) day
    (c) For the purposes of illustration: if a Collector’s account is fully verified and approved by CardUp on 9 February 2024, the Collector can enjoy the Offer until 24 March 2024
  7. (a) There is no minimum amount per payment required within the RM 5,000 limit
    (b) Any payments collected that exceed the RM 5,000 limit are subjected to:
      (i) the prevailing minimum fee of RM 10, for payments less than RM 400, or the standard processing fee of 2.25% for domestic credit card payments or 3.3% for international credit card payments, for payments greater than RM 400 
    (c) The prevailing fees can be absorbed by the Collector or passed on to the Collector’s customers (“Payors”). The Collector must indicate at account set up whether the prevailing fees are to be borne by the Collector or the Payor - this can be updated any time by contacting hellomy@cardup.co

  8. The Offer is not valid
    (a) for Business Users on customised fees
    (b) for payments collected via CardUp's API
    (c) in conjunction with any other promotions, offers, or discounts

General Terms

  1. CardUp shall be entitled to withdraw or substitute the CardUp credit with items or rewards of similar value at its sole discretion without prior notice and without giving any reason for the same

  2. CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any Participant and the dates of the Promotion)

  3. CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Participants, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail

  4. CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the Participant or by any person in connection with the Promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, CardUp is not responsible for the loss of any Promotional Gift for which the Referrer is eligible

  5. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy. The Participant shall be responsible for obtaining, and warrants that it has obtained, the consent of the Referee(s) for the provision of the Referee(s) personal data to CardUp, and to the collection, use and storage of such personal data in accordance with CardUp’s Privacy Policy. CardUp may inform the Referee(s) that the Referee’s/Referees’ personal data is collected from the Participant

  6. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp’s general Terms of Service

  7. "CardUp" refers to CardUp Malaysia SDN. BHD., a company registered in Malaysia

  8. These Terms of Service, all matters relating to your use of our website at https://www.cardup.my and all matters relating to the use of the CardUp service shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Malaysia. By using the CardUp service you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia
